At the age of twelve, I was honoured to have my portfolio reviewed by one of Disney's 'nine old men', Eric Larson. He encouraged me to continue drawing, study art and go for it!
Since earning a B.A. in Fine Arts from Cal State Northridge, I've worked for companies such as Universal Studios, The Disney Channel, Dick Clark, National Assistance League & The Musicians Union. These experiences showed me the benefit of creative problem solving.
More recently I studied web design at UNLV and have gone on to combine art, design, colour theory and internet technology into an exciting career.
As a professional musician, I have helped my fellow musicians by creating unique band logos, designing CD covers & apparel illustrations for publicity purposes.
Rock 'n' roll is the greatest influence on my art, and it's within this mindset that the Avant Fauves movement was born.
By implementing both hand drawn illustrations & digital art, my pieces balance cutting edge graphics with the warmth of fine art. I thoroughly enjoy doing character studies of interesting personalities where the use of art brings out a depth of soul through portraiture.
My roots are Celtic, but I was born in Puerto Rico and spent a portion of my childhood in Mexico - so I like my beer dark and my food spicy! ROCK ON
